März 1993 (Donnerstag) in Japan veröffentlicht. Es wurde von UPL entwickelt und ist das letzte von diesem Hersteller entwickelte Spiel. Dieses Spiel ist außerhalb Japans als 3 Count Bout bekannt. Fire Suplex ist das einzige „echte“ Wrestlingspiel für die SNK MVS Neo-Geo-Hardware, aber nicht das erste. Diese Ehre gebührt dem „König der Monster“ (zumindest bei Riesenmonstern!):) Blues Hablam und Blubber Man sind eigentlich derselbe Typ mit der gleichen Ringkleidung, nur Hablam trägt eine Maske. Das Gleiche gilt für Gochack Bigbomb und Big Bomberdir, wobei Bigbomb die Maske trägt. Der Charakter Master Barnes betritt den Ring mit Schulterspikes, ähnlich denen, die das legendäre Wrestling-Tag-Team The Road Warriors trägt.
