Mehrere Musikstücke aus diesem Spiel wurden für andere Spiele derselben Musiker recycelt: Die Musik von Mission 1 wurde in „Gun Force II“ (Stage 2 Teil 1) recycelt und neu abgemischt. Die Musik von Mission 2 enthält ein Synthesizer-Solo (nach 32 Sekunden), das in „Metal Slug 2 – Super Vehicle-001/II“ (Mission 3) mit einem Saxofon gespielt wurde. Die Musik von Mission 3 wurde recycelt und mit E-Gitarre in „Metal Slug 3“ (Mission 1, Unterwasserweg) neu abgemischt. Die Musik von Mission 3 wurde auch in „Gun Force II“ (Stage 2 Teil 2) recycelt und neu abgemischt.
