Kartuschen-ID: Kassette DT-1010 und Dongle DP-1010 - TRIVIA - HWY (ausgesprochen Highway) Chase wurde im Dezember 1980 in den japanischen Spielhallen veröffentlicht. Es war das allererste Videospiel, das für dieses System entwickelt wurde (Kassette Nr. 01), zusammen mit Sengoku Ninja-tai (aus Japan als Ninja bekannt) und Manhattan. Es heißt, der Titel HWY Chase (HWY statt Highway) sei gewählt worden, um den Quellcode und die Materialien von „Mad Rider“, die zuvor als PCB veröffentlicht wurden und aus Japan als „Mad Alien“ bekannt seien, einfach wiederverwenden zu können. Auf dem Titelbildschirm des Spiels steht: Fantastisch! Spannend! Spannend! in HWY Chase von Data East.
