Galaga aliens launch missile strikes and suicide attacks against the player's fighter. Navigating horizontally through infinite levels, players must intercept a tractor-beam to retrieve captured fighters and double their firepower. Every third level introduces a unique, challenging stage that increases the difficulty of the arcade-style shooting action.
